About Dr. Bob
Germantown Pediatric Dentist - Dr. Bob Testen - Germantown MD
Dr. Bob was born and raised a long time ago in a log cabin in a galaxy far, far away. As a young student, he eventually learned how to color inside the lines and was allowed to leave the comfort of high school to attend John Carroll University from 1983-1987, earning a Bachelor of Science with a major in biology and a minor in English. Dr. Bob attended and graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1992. Upon graduation, he completed a general practice residency at the Medical College of Ohio in 1994. He then completed advanced training in pediatric dentistry at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC in 1996 and became a full time attending and Director of Regional Outpatient Facilities until September 2001. He continues to maintain his attending status on a part-time volunteer basis at the hospital. Dr. Bob is a member of the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as various study groups at a local level. When not engaged in the epic battle against tooth decay, he enjoys reading, working out, cooking, and traveling with his wife, Lisa and their two beautiful daughters, Francesca and Giovanna.
